Obituary of June M. Vandegrift

June M. Vandegrift, 61, Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, November 6 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St Francis after a long courageous battle with Cancer with her loving family by her side. She was born and raised in Trenton and resided in the Hamilton area all of her life. She was employed as a Nurse at Mercer Medical Center for many years. Known to her family as "June Bug "she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, dining out with her friends and going on cruises. She had a strong character and a will to live, her strength, determination and kindness was truly priceless, she will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. June was a communicant of St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church. She is predeceased by her Beloved Parents John E. Sr. and Violet Varner, a Brother John E. Varner, Jr., an Uncle Timothy Varner, a Brother in law Theodore Disbrow, a Sister in law Linda Varner and a Niece Kelly Varner. June leaves behind to cherish her memory, a Beloved Husband Michael, Hamilton, her Son Michael Carroll, Columbus, two Sisters, Ruth V. Agans and Her Husband Charles A., Lumberton , Donna Disbrow, Yardley PA , two Brothers James Varner and his Wife Maryann, Florida, Jerry Varner and his Wife Cathy , Poconos, a Granddaughter Cassidy Carroll, Columbus and Several Nieces , Nephews , Cousins and Friends . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday, November 11 at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, 1733 South Broad Street, Trenton The Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 10 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at The Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Avenue, Princeton Following the Funeral Mass June will be carefully placed to rest in the family plot at Colonial Memorial Park.
