Obituary of Marylou Barna

Mary Lou Barna, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on September 4, 2019 at the age of 87. Mary Lou was born on September 22, 1931 in Trenton, NJ to Clarence and Bessie Brokaw. She will be remembered most for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, endless amounts of energy and love for family. 

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen Barna, daughter Sandra Meinzer and step-son Joseph Barna. She is survived by her daughters: Linda Sansone, Barbara Hillman, Janet Porter; her step-son Steve Barna; her grandchildren Michael Sansone, Kelly Johnson, Jennifer Boutureira, Logan Porter, Kylie Porter, Joe Barna, Susan McCormack, Lillian Bylone as well as her 9 great-grandchildren. 

Friends and Family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Monday at 4:00 p.m. on September 9th at The Pennington United Methodist Church (60 South Main Street, Pennington, NJ 08534).

Mary Lou dedicated 35 years of her life to working at The Pennington School, a place she considered her second home.
