Obituary of David Paul Voorhees

David Paul Voorhees of Columbus, NJ, born on October 15, 1944 in Annandale, New Jersey, to the late Paul Voorhees and the late Ruth Voorhees (Holzbaur), passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on July 17, 2019 surrounded by family. He worked for the State of New Jersey Department of Personnel for 37 years. David was the loving husband of Carol R. Voorhees (Comisky) for 55 years. He is survived by his sons, Ronald Voorhees & Lynn Perkins, David & Tracey Voorhees, and Peter & Jessica Voorhees; daughters, Carolyn Voorhees, Karen & Gene Steward, and Debbie & Darren Strang; brother, Mark & Ruth Voorhees; sister, Susan & Greg Eckel; 18 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was an active member of the Robbinsville Seventh Day Adventist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's name to ADRA- donations.adra.org. Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on Saturday, July 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Robbinsville Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2314 NJ-33, Robbinsville, New Jersey, 08691. Interment will be private.
