Obituary of Ernestine W Duval

 

 

Ernestine W. Duval, 84, Monmouth Junction, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 24 at Bridgeway Care and Rehab Center Hillsborough, surrounded by her loving family.

 

She was born in New Brunswick, NJ on December 15, 1932 to Abraham Arnold Schneider and Mary Ellen Champion Schneider.

 

Ernestine met and married William S. Duval, the absolute love of her live in 1951. They quickly started a large family together, 3 boys and 3 girls, raising them all in the Edison, NJ area.  In addition, to raising her family, she was always available to help many other extended family members.

 

She worked and retired from Johnson & Johnson followed by many years as an EMT for the Edison Rescue Squad.

 

Following retirement Ernestine and Bill Sr. were able to retire to Myrtle Beach, SC where they spent the next 20 years entertaining many loved ones and made many wonderful new memories. She was an avid bowler, gardener and beach walker. Ernestine thoroughly enjoyed her long retirement.

 

She is predeceased by her parents Abraham Arnold and Mary Ellen Schneider, and her beloved husband William.

 

Ernestine leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children Billy, Denise, Mickey, Peggy, Sharon and Brian along with their spouses, one Brother Elmer Schneider and wife June; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

 

She will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

 

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, November 3rd, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a service to Celebrate her Life at the Franklin H. Rainear Jr., Affordable Funeral Service and Cremation, 1310 Prospect Street, Ewing, NJ 08836  888-213-4090.
