Obituary of Leonard W. Formolo
Leonard "Lenny" Formolo, 72 of Hamilton Square NJ, passed away suddenly at home on March 8th 2013 with his loving family by his side.
Born in Hazelton Pennsylvania, Lenny resided in Hamilton Square NJ for 37 years.
He was a Vietnam Veteran and served his country proudly with the U.S. Army's 553rd Engineer Company achieving a SP4 rank. Lenny was a Bridge Crewman and expert Rifleman receiving several medals of honor for which he was extremely proud of.
Lenny was a extremely devoted loving family man who thoroughly enjoyed taking care of and providing for them. In his past time he enjoyed taxidermy, hunting and fishing.
He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Marie Formolo and his infant brother Albert. Lenny is survived by his beloved family; a daughter Terry Ann Formolo-Bower of Bordentown Township, his loving companion of 27 years, Elizabeth Laird, and her children, Tracy Laird of Guyton, Georgia, Robert Laird of Levittown, Pa, and Sandy Heller of Hamilton Square, NJ. His grandchildren Thomas, Terressa and Todd Bower. His brothers and sisters in law, Lawrence & Cathy Formolo of Smiley Texas, James & Brigette Formolo of Robbinsville NJ & John and Kathy Formolo of Hamilton Township, NJ. and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his longtime friends Bobby and Lynn Banks of North Pole, Alaska, and Christopher Viteritto of Hamilton NJ. and all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
